Welcome to Barbara Vos Craniosacral Therapy! A Craniosacral Treatment is a gentle yet profound method of enhancing the function of the nervous system and returning balance & mobility to the entire body. Various systems of our body function involuntarily and have their own pattern of motion and rhythm. For example, the heart moves outside of our voluntary control. There is another system which also has an involuntary rhythm of motion and is called the craniosacral system. As a craniosacral practitioner, I am trained to sense and monitor these very subtle wave-like involuntary rhythms that come from your craniosacral system.
During a session, I will make gentle contacts, especially on the skull, spine and sacrum which facilitates a response from your body's self correcting mechanism and allows the release of blocks and holding patterns that may be present throughout your body.

I have been a Certified Craniosacral Practitioner, CCP, since 2005.
I became aware of the healing power of Craniosacral Therapy when I received my first treatment in 1998 . I experienced the value of gentle, aware touch that alleviated tension, allowing my nervous system to reset and begin healing.
I graduated from Craniosacral Institute and I mentored for 2 years wth Teresa Jayne the primary teacher and healer.
I am deeply committed to quiet listening and practicing my skill with each person who comes to see me.
